Manchester (Report: Urdu Global) — Urdu Global Art & Culture (UGAC) successfully organized its first recreational day trip of 2025. The purpose of the trip was to provide an opportunity for families who often remain confined to their homes throughout the year and have limited access to outdoor activities.
The trip was organized under the supervision of UGAC Vice President Ms. Mashal Aqeel (Pinkie). This time, the chosen destination was the picturesque town of Ambleside, known for its breathtaking landscapes, serene lakes, and natural beauty. Families thoroughly enjoyed the outing and the chance to engage with nature and each other in a joyful environment.
Among the notable attendees were UGAC CEO Muhammad Shehzad Ali, representatives from Open Kitchen Manchester, Aamir Khan, Food Bank Manager Muhiuddin Cheema, Maqsood Chaudhry, Atta-ur-Rehman, Ghulam Hussain, Umair Hassan, Hasnain Chauhan, and Muhammad Rafiq, along with many families.
Participants appreciated the initiative, noting that many families are unaware of recreational spots or are unable to visit them due to financial or social constraints. UGAC’s effort provided them with a refreshing and much-needed break from routine life.
UGAC remains committed to continuing such trips in the future to offer more opportunities for leisure, learning, and social connection.
