According to Ug News Europe,President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Pope Francis on the occasion of Coronation Day.Ug News Europe reports that the letter says: On the occasion of your Coronation Day, I personally congratulate you and all your co-religionists on my behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, and convey my most sincere and good wishes.In his congratulatory letter, the head of state expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and the Holy See.We attach special importance to our long-standing active and effective cooperation in the direction of preserving and constantly developing the inter-civilizational and inter-religious dialogue and the values of multiculturalism.Establishing the embassy of our country in the Holy See is an indicator of the quality of our relations rising to a new stage and a clear manifestation of the importance we attach to the development of Azerbaijan-Holy See relations,” President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
