According to Ug News Europe,The delegation of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is on a visit to Geneva, Switzerland within the framework of the 52nd session of the UN Human Rights Council, met with Mrs. Tatyana Valovaya, the general director of the agency’s Geneva branch.Ug News Europe reports that Aygun Aliyeva, executive director of the State Support Agency for NGOs, emphasized the development of civil society in Azerbaijan, and at the same time, the Agency cooperates with various UN institutions in this direction. He noted that the Agency has signed a memorandum with the UN resident coordinator in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the activity of civil society institutions in this context.The Director General, in turn, expressed his satisfaction to see the delegation in Geneva and expressed confidence that the cooperation of the Agency with UN institutions in the future will bring positive results for the civil society of Azerbaijan.
