Jhelum (Ch. Abid Mahmood + Ch. Daniel Abid) Rottenness started spreading in several areas of Jhelum city including new population Karimpura, Bilal Town, Mujahidabad, Kashmir Colony, Kala Gujran and other areas due to dirt and filth. The provincial assemblies turned their backs on the residents of the area, protesting all over the area, demanding notice from the Administrator Municipal Corporation / Deputy Commissioner. According to details, residents of Nai Abadi Karimpura, Bilal Town, Mujahidabad, Kashmir Colony, Kala Gujran and other areas adjoining the city while talking to reporters said that due to lack of interest of elected members of National and Provincial Assemblies, the Municipal Corporation Instead of cleaning the inner city streets, the staff has turned the streets into rubbish bins. Rottenness is spreading in the streets of the settlements adjacent to the city due to dirty water and dirt and filth. Due to the lack of sewerage, the breeding of mosquitoes, flies and various insects is increasing rapidly, while piles of dirt and rubbish have accumulated in various places, which is spreading the stench of garbage. Due to which different types of viruses are being born due to which the citizens are suffering from various infectious diseases. Residents of the area have demanded the Administrator Municipal Corporation / Deputy Commissioner to clean the paved roads, streets and drains for the people adjoining the city. Funds should be provided for sanitation and sanitation Ruckers should be banned so that citizens can be protected from deadly diseases in today’s advanced age.
