Gilgit # ( mazhr mughl ) Chairman Price Control Committee Gilgit Captain (R) Areeb Ahmad Mukhtar said that strict action will be taken against traders who do not follow the official price lists in the city, while hawking will not be allowed. Daily actions are taken on public complaints. He expressed these thoughts while addressing the meeting of the local price control committee on Tuesday. In the Price Control Committee meeting, Chief Corporation Officer Baldia Uzma Abid Hussain, Magistrate First Class Atifullah Khan, Former Councilor Qaiser Abbas, Number Dar Ala Javed Anwar, Met Inspector Dr. Mushtaq Alam, Municipal and Sector Magistrates, President and General Secretary of Anjuman Tajran. Officials of vegetable and fruit merchants including market committee participated in large numbers, the participants also expressed their opinion in the meeting. Chairman Price Control Committee further said that the joint raiding teams of the district administration and municipal corporation are working hard to implement the decisions of the Price Control Committee, daily action is being taken on public complaints and heavy fines are also being given for violation. Expensive sales are not allowed in the municipal limits. Traders should not lose their faith in the temptation of excess profit because excessive greed is a bad word. The administration is aware of inflation. Cooperate together. Earlier, Assistant Secretary Price Control Committee Saif Ulmook read out the latest market survey report. He said that the prices of food items coming from Punjab have increased due to transportation, but there is complete control over the market and illegal profiteering is being encouraged. The Sector Magistrates along with their teams are actively working to implement the official price lists on the orders of Areeb Ahmed Mukhtar. Later, Assistant Commissioner and Chairman Price Control Committee Gilgit Captain (R) Areeb Ahmed Mukhtar also approved the issuance of new price lists containing the revision of prices of food items and vegetables and fruits, which will be effective immediately. It should be noted that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Gilgit Captain (R) Usama Majeed Cheema, Assistant Commissioner and his team are always trying to solve the problems faced on food items, vegetables and fruits, encroachment, land compensation and public complaints.
