Vice Chairperson Overseas Commission Punjab Barrister Amjad Malik visited Gujranwala at the invitation of Head of Minority Wing and International Affairs Europe Shahzad Bhatti –
In the meeting, Head of Minority Wing and International Affairs Europe Shahzad Bhatti congratulated Barrister Amjad Malik on assuming the post of Vice Chairperson Overseas Commission Punjab. On this occasion, Parvez Bhatti Councilor, Asif Gul, Imran Bhatti, Sohal Bhatti, Salamat Masih, Wilson Gul, Ilyas Bhatti, Pastor Riaz Masih, Amar Masih, Afaq Masih, and other community members were also present at the reception on behalf of the minority community in Gujranwala.
The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and agreed to work together for the mutual cooperation of the minority community and the welfare of overseas Pakistanis.
Shehzad Bhatti said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Minority Wing Europe will always play its role in reaching out to overseas citizens.
Barrister Amjad Malik thanked Shehzad Bhatti and the Minority Wing and other hosts. He was accompanied by his overseas team members Barrister Haq Nawaz from London, Ghulam Abbas Bhatti from the United Arab Emirates, Shehzad Dogar, Hassan Toor, Rana Shahbaz Ahmed from Saudi Arabia, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from Malaysia, Mian Muhammad Hanif from France, Atif Mughal from China, Shaf Zeeshan Malik and Admin Syed Mazhar Ali Shah.
Head of Minority Wing and International Affairs Europe Shahzad Bhatti and his team welcomed Barrister Amjad Malik in a traditional manner with drum beats, horse dances, buggies, flowers and fireworks, keeping in mind the culture of Gujranwala. They also garlanded him with rupees and dollars and, maintaining the traditional style, presented him with a garland that will always remind him of the city of wrestlers. Barrister Amjad Malik presented Shahzad Bhatti with the insignia of the Overseas Commission Punjab and thanked him for the wonderful hospitality and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
