According to Ug News Europe,The World Health Organization (WHO) has allocated 3 million dollars from the emergency reserve fund to support Turkey and Syria in the fight against the consequences of the earthquake.According to the information provided by the WHO to “Ug News Europe”, the allocated amount includes the sending of three charter flights loaded with medicines.In addition, 77 national and 13 international emergency teams of medical personnel from all over the world have been sent to both countries.The organization said that work is currently underway to assess the “map” of the damage to determine where efforts should be directed.It should be recalled that on February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Kahramanmaraş province, located in the south-east of Turkey. Strong earthquakes and subsequent aftershocks were felt in 10 provinces of the country, as well as in neighboring countries, including Syria.A state of emergency has already been declared in 10 provinces of Turkey for 3 months. A 7-day mourning was announced in the country in memory of the victims.
