Community leader working for women’s rights, ex-councilor Yasmin Toor, made a special appearance – Dr. Yasir Abbasi also answered the questions of the women in the hall. Other participants included community worker and actress Parveen Hussain – Faiza Awan – and Asia. A large number of women from the community participated – Psychiatrist Dr. Yasir Abbasi said that it is important to educate Asian women about mental and physical health so that they can go out into the community and teach other women about it. The purpose of the workshop was to educate Asian women about the abuse of illicit drugs and alcohol among adults.
